The inspiration for this website came from my background, which is in illustration, and my current major which is web design and new media. I have gotten to know quite a lot of artists during my recent years and the common problem they find is that they find it hard to promote their artwork. Even if the artwork is excellent, not many people will get to know about it, which is quite a missed opportunity for many people to enjoy peoples' art. I decided to make a website which curates the best artwork from the lesser known artists around me, and promote their art in the interest of giving them a wider exposure to audiences which they wouldn't normally get.
